Attorney Cristopher Savino

Cris is a native of the Capital Region. He grew up in Clifton Park, New York and attended and graduated from Shenendehowa High School.

He went on to attend and graduate from the State University at Albany with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology with a minor in Journalism. After graduating from the University at Albany, Cris worked for five years in academic publishing. He left publishing in 2013 to attend Albany Law School from which he graduated cum laude in 2016 with a Juris Doctorate.

During his final semester in law school, Cris participated in the New York State Pro Bono Scholars program through which he was able to take the New York State Bar Exam in February of his final semester and then spent his final twelve weeks of law school working full-time for the Rensselaer County Public Defender’s Office representing clients who could not afford legal representation.

Cris was admitted to the New York State Bar in June of 2016.

In addition to working for the Rensselaer County Public Defender's Office during law school, Chris also worked for the Saratoga County District Attorney's Office and the State University of New York's Office of General Counsel.

He currently resides in Watervliet, New York with his wife.
