Meet Rachel Rappazzo

Attorney Rachel A. Rappazzo

Rachel is a native of Albany, New York, with family in the area and was born and raised in the Capital Region.

Dedicated to clients in Upstate New York, Rachel went to the State University at Albany and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. She then went on to attend and graduate from Albany Law School with a Juris Doctorate degree in 2003.

Prior to becoming a divorce attorney, and bankruptcy lawyer, Rachel worked in Capital District area child services group homes. She spent many years helping children that were growing up with behavioral, emotional, and developmental concerns, as well as family and legal problems.

After graduating from Albany Law School, Rachel continued her work with children and became a law guardian, representing those children with legal problems in a court of law.  Knowing the issues both parents and children face, Rachel naturally began to work in all areas of Family Courts in Albany, Schoharie, Schenectady, and Saratoga Counties, helping families through the difficult time of divorce, custody, and child support.

Branching out, Rachel saw a need to help those with serious financial problems and took on the task of establishing her private practice in the area of bankruptcy representation.  Knowing the pain and heartache it takes to make the decision to go bankrupt, Rachel is a competent and knowledgeable bankruptcy attorney that is able to help people through that process.

Bankruptcy clients are guided down the confusing path to getting a "fresh start" without losing homes, cars, and property that were earned through years of hard work.

Rachel is a wife and mother that understands that life can get very complicated.  Providing her clients with exceptional legal services, and a law firm that understands its clients, is her top priority.
